The VEREX-ELTO, a.s. company was established in the year 1993 by Mr. Turek and the Verex Holding, a.s. company as the reaction to the actual state and services on the market with electrotechnical goods in Slovakia at that time. From the beginning of its existence was company focused on wholesale market of electrotechnical and electric installation material. At that time, company consisted of 1 or 2 rooms, stock amount was minimal and the company had only two emploees.

Also thanks to its approach to requirements of the customers, the company has been growing and expanding its activities every year. New storage houses and distribution centers was built, number of employees increased, portfolio extended. In the year 1995, the company moved its headquarters to new building for the first time. Autonomous cable warehouse was built and during next several years the VEREX-ELTO, a.s. company established its distribution centers in these cities: Bratislava (1995), Ružomberok (1995), Košice (1997), Levice (2000), Nitra (2001), Trenčín (2001), Žilina (2002), Prievidza (2007) and Prešov (2009).

In the year 2007 comes to next breakthrough in the history of the company. Whole headquarters, for the second time, moves to newly built residence, part of which is also new, advanced logistic center with area of totally 15000 m2. In the year 2008 also begun implementation of new information system MS Dynamics NAV. From 1.6.2011 our company had changed legal form from Ltd. to Inc. In new conditions, the company is able to work much more effectively, what enables it to expand further.
